Phoenix Small Group Training – Elevate Your Game

Join Coach Kevin Orcutt, two-time Coach of the Year and head coach of Marshfield Varsity Lacrosse, for an exclusive lacrosse training experience. Phoenix Small Group Training is designed to elevate your skills, whether you're an offensive or defensive player, in a focused, small-group setting with a maximum of just six players per session.

What to Expect:

Each session is meticulously structured to focus on key techniques, with both offensive and defensive skill development:

  • Offensive Training: Positioning, shooting, dodging, and reading defenses
  • Defensive Training: Elite techniques for defending, positioning, and improving footwork

Players will develop confidence, versatility, and game awareness through drills that simulate real-game situations, preparing them to perform at their best in competitive play.

Ideal for:

  • Youth athletes (3rd Grade through High School) committed to mastering lacrosse fundamentals and strategies on both offense and defense.

Program Details:

    • Six 60-minute sessions: Limited to 6 players per session, ensuring personalized attention and a focused learning environment.
    • Dates/Times:
      • Sundays
        • 10am: Grades 6-8 – Dodging and Shooting
        • 11am: High School – Dodging and Shooting
        • 12pm: MS/HS Elite Defense
      • Thursdays
        • 6pm: Grades 3-5 – Dodging and Shooting
        • 7pm: Grades 6-8 – Dodging and Shooting
        • 8pm: High School – Dodging and Shooting
    • Dates:
      • Sundays: 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9
      • Thursdays: 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6
  • Cost: $300 for 6 weeks
  • Location: Hawks HQ @ HardKore Athletics, Rockland, MA

40 Minutes of Skills + 20 Minutes Small-Sided Play Sessions.  Skills taught by high level coaches led by Boston Globe Coach of the Year Kevin Orcutt then incorporating them into games working on that week’s focus.  Tons of touches, fast moving, and really fun for all the kids.  Those registered by December 15 will have customized Hawks Academy Reversibles with their names on it.  (One custom reversible per year)

Hawks 4 v4 Game Play

4 v 4 Game Play – Box Hybrid – 60 minutes of tons of touches, decisions, and fun.  Fast play with limited stoppages to allow the boys to learn by playing with guidance from outstanding coaches on the field and on the benches.  Learning curve in this fun and competitive environment is incredible.  Those registered by December 15 will have customized Hawks Academy Reversibles with their names on it.  (One custom reversible per year)

6v6 Game Play

6 v 6 plus goalie format - bridging the gap between small sided games to the field concepts come into play. The  PLL and Olympics have adopted for a fast type of lacrosse combing Field Lacrosse with some of the great concepts of Box Lacrosse.  Tons of touches, tons of decisions, and tons of great coaching
